Harrah's St. Louis consists of two 3200 passenger barges that remain dockside at all times.  There are two casinos that make up the 120,00 square feet of gaming space: The Island Casino and The Mardi Gras Casino.  With a combined total of over 3200 slot/video poker machines and 75 table games each casino has its own unique theme.  The Island Casino is amidst waterfalls, palm trees, and giant fishtanks while the Mardi Gras Casino is filled with beads, masks, and two 9x9 video walls.  Harrah's St. Louis has received a number of awards, including "Favorite Casino" by the St. Louis Times' Reader's Choice Award and "Best Casino" by The Riverfront Times 2001 "Best of St. Louis" poll.
